A World of Colors

Classroom: Mariquitas

Blog Theme: A World of Colors

Week: From 02/18/2019 to 02/22/2019

What we are learning?
Dear Parents,

We hope you all have a wonderful week. This is the last week of our wonderful subject “A World of Colors”. This week children will continue being encouraged to cultivate love for nature through observation of images of nature and reviewing the basic colors while listening to music related to this theme.

We will also continue working on motor and sensorial activities related to this theme so children can continue learning through fun experiences while keeping strengthening gross and fine motor skills, language and socio-emotional skills.  Some activities children will enjoy are as follows:

  • Discuss about the sun, rain, wind, moon and stars.

  • Play with colorful hoops.

  • Sing the song of the week and other songs related to the theme.

  • Draw and paint a sun and rain.

Thank you for letting us play such an important role in your child’s life and we hope you have a great weekend.

Song of the Week

Buenos días ya salió el sol

Miro hacia el cielo, las nubes de algodón

Buenas noches, la luna salió

Muchas estrellitas luceros de amor.

Estrellas, planetas

Luna y sol

Cuida nuestra tierra y llénala de amor

Poems

El sol tiene frío

No quiere salir

Oculto entre las nubes

Se ha puesto a dormir
